LEAP and Forever Sabah took part in a Public Conference on Infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific: Promoting Benefits and Limiting Environmental Risks on 5 October 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, and in a workshop the following day. Organised by the Centre for Tropical Environmental and Sustainability Science at the James Cook University, Australia, the public conference and workshop created space for the sharing of stories and pooling of ideas on how infrastructure development such as roads could lead to socio-economic benefits.
